The Reality of Mortality: a Conversation About Death and Dying

This thought provoking, interactive, practical, and dare I say fun four-week course will explore various areas around death and dying.

During our time together, 

• We will explore a brief history around death rituals, beliefs, and current trends. 
• We will discuss Advance Directives and other useful medical end-of-life documents with the opportunity prepare their own.  
• We will explore Life Reviews and how it is a valuable way to make sense of one's life. 
• We will also learn about Legacy Projects, especially Ethical Wills as a gift for others to enjoy for generations to come. 
• Participants also have the opportunity to explore and plan their own death ritual, vigil, and end-of-life celebration. 
• We will also make time for questions and group discussion using the Death Cafe Model.
